A practice built on presence

I'm Dr. Estrella Gallegos, a licensed psychologist in California. I see adults whose eating has become painful, secretive or all-consuming, in the office and by video for clients who are in California.

My work is relational and slow. I ask what you want, not what is wrong, and I explain what each session will ask of you before you decide to go on. Nothing in my office is weighed, measured or scored.

I work with a registered dietitian who has her own practice, and I stay in touch with your doctor when you want me to. You decide who knows what. If weekly therapy is not enough, I will tell you plainly and help you find a program that fits.

I believe therapy is a collaboration: the therapist brings training, and you bring the knowledge of your own life.

Records kept private and shared only as the law allows.
